Dad has the TV on again. I tried to give it a chance.
I really did. But after watching five whole minutes of history documentaries, football highlights, and people talking about things I don't understand...
I have a request. Can we change the channel? Maybe something with squirrels.
Or birds.
Or dogs running around a park.
Honestly, I'd even settle for one of those nature shows where absolutely everything is trying to eat everything else. At least that keeps my attention. I keep looking back at Dad, hoping he'll take the hint.
He doesn't. Instead, he pats my head and says, "This is a good one."
For who? Certainly not me.
Wake me up when the Animal Planet marathon starts.
