Julius the Door Greeter?
This is a subtitle for your new post

With Abbi away at training, the house feels just a little emptier—and Julius has noticed. Every time the door opens, his head perks up, crest feathers rise, and he leans forward with hopeful eyes. You can almost hear him asking, “Is that Abbi? Did she come home yet?” When it’s not her, Julius let's out a little squawk of disappointment, as if to say, “Well, where is she then?” He’s gotten into the habit of carefully watching everyone who walks in, just in case his four-legged sister comes trotting through behind them.
It’s endearing, really. For all of Julius’s antics—stealing snacks, demanding attention, and throwing a dramatic cold shoulder when he doesn’t get his way—he’s showing us just how much Abbi means to him. He might act like the star of the show most days, but deep down, he’s missing his partner in crime. Until Abbi returns, Julius will keep watch, waiting by the door, hopeful with every creak of the hinges that it’ll be her coming home. And when that day finally comes, no doubt his welcome will be just as loud, joyful, and over-the-top as only a cockatoo can manage.
