Hello, everyone.

Yes, I know. You’re excited. Try to stay calm.

Today, I took time out of my very busy schedule of being magnificent to enjoy a nap alongside my sister, Abbi. And let me tell you, while I usually prefer my personal space, my commentary to be heard, and my presence to be admired, even I can appreciate a good moment of peace with family.

Abbi is a good nap buddy. She’s warm, she’s calm, and unlike some humans I could mention, she understands the value of simply sitting still and enjoying the moment.

There we were, side by side, taking a well-earned rest after a long day of supervising the house, observing everything, and making sure the standards around here did not slip too far. It’s not easy being the one with the feathers, the wisdom, and the responsibility, but someone has to do it.

I’ll admit, there was something nice about it.

No chaos.

No interruptions.

No unnecessary movement.

Just me, Abbi, and a little bit of quiet.

Of course, I was still the more elegant one in the room. Let’s not get carried away. But Abbi does bring a certain comfort to these shared moments. She is steady like that. Loyal. Peaceful. A good sister to have nearby when it’s time to recharge.

Sometimes even the most impressive among us need a nap.

And sometimes naps are better when shared with family.

Now then, I must return to my important duties, which include looking dramatic, being charming, and reminding everyone that this house is, in many ways, my kingdom.
