Hi friends, it’s me, Abbi.

Today was a very important day. Not a “chase squirrels” kind of day. Not a “guard the house from suspicious delivery drivers” kind of day. No, today was a nap day.

And the best kind of nap is the kind you take with your brother.

My brother Julius and I decided that after all the hard work of being adorable, keeping an eye on things, and making sure our humans stay properly supervised, we had earned ourselves a cozy little rest. So we curled up together and settled in for a good nap.

Now, if you know Julius, you know he likes to do things his own way. He’s got personality. He’s got flair. He’s got opinions. But when it’s nap time, even he knows there’s nothing better than being close to family.

There’s just something special about those quiet moments. No barking. No playing. No zoomies. Just warmth, comfort, and the sound of your brother nearby while the world slows down for a bit.

I think humans forget sometimes how nice it is to simply rest with someone you love. You don’t have to be doing anything exciting. You don’t have to go anywhere. Sometimes the best moments are just sharing peace together.

That’s what today was for me and Julius.

A little quiet.

A little cozy.

A little reminder that family makes everything better — even naps.

Well, I’m getting sleepy again just thinking about it.
