Waiting for His Shower; Like He Pays the Bills

There are few things in life more impatient than a cockatoo who has decided it is shower time.
Meet Julius.
Julius is our umbrella cockatoo, and apparently today he had places to be, people to see, and feathers that desperately needed washing.
There was just one problem. The water wasn’t hot yet. So, like any reasonable customer waiting for his appointment, Julius stood there and stared.
And waited.
And stared some more.
No screaming. No flying away. Just the unmistakable look of a bird wondering why the staff was taking so long to provide the service he had clearly requested. Unfortunately, explaining to a cockatoo that “the water is still heating up” does about as much good as explaining your cancellation policy to a dog.
Julius did not care.
He wanted his shower.
Eventually the water reached an acceptable temperature, His Majesty was allowed to proceed, and another crisis at Bigfoot Pet Mobile Grooming was narrowly avoided. People usually think our lives revolve around grooming dogs and cats. They forget we go home to a feathered supervisor who expects the same level of service. And apparently, he does not tolerate delays
